Client  Jorge Welsh Works of Art  2015

Jorge Welsh galleries are internationally recognized specialists in oriental porcelain and works of art related to the Portuguese expansion. Their portfolio spans from regions such as Africa, India, China and Japan. The 2014 Jorge Welsh Galleries Exhibition, shows an extraordinary range of shapes produced during the late 17th and 18th centuries, some of which are truly out of the ordinary. This catalogue and exhibition focus on the most unusual forms of porcelain, frequently ordered in smaller quantities and through private trade.

The challenge in this project was to create a communication language under the theme “Out of the Ordinary” reflecting these amazing porcelain pieces and highlighting the variety of shapes and unusual forms of porcelain. The visual language was applied in two main deliverables: the catalogue and the overall collateral promotional printed and digital material communicating the exhibition and the catalogue.
