Splendour in Venice Exhibition Catalogue

Client Gulbenkian 2024

The Splendour in Venice catalogue was designed in alignment with the exhibition’s visual identity and communication strategy.

It is structured in two main sections, the first featuring essays highlighting the significance of Venetian painting collections held by the Museu Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, alongside a contextual exploration of Venice’s artistic landscape in the 18th century. The second one presenting catalogue entries for the works of art featured in the exhibition. High-quality reproductions and close-up images allow readers to appreciate the intricate details and craftsmanship of each painting.

Published in both Portuguese and English, the catalogue was produced with close attention to print quality and production standards.
