Client Gulbenkian 2023

Following the exhibition Treasures from Kings, Masterpieces from the Terra Sancta Museum, we designed the catalogue for Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, in collaboration with the Terra Sancta Museum and the Custody of the Holy Land. The publication is divided in two moments, the first being a group of essays tracing the century-old history of royal offerings, liturgy, the Franciscans friars and the Portuguese crown offerings. And the second, a four section structure, mirroring pretty much the organisation of the exhibition space, where donations are mapped according to nations or crowns. This 288 page soft cover publication was printed in two languages and sold out its first English print run edition.
